5 years ago Rachel and Neil tied the knot in the historic Edinburgh church where Rachel is a Girl Guide leader. The wedding reception was held at Murrayfield Stadium as a representation of where Scotland and Wales usually meet on the pitch. As the evening progressed so did the dancing which took to the pitch (see below) for ceilidh dancing. We knew those Welsh country dancing lessons would come in handy one day!

To celebrate safely at home Rachel and Neil decided to recreate their wedding breakfast at home.
Starters
Haggis & Steak Pie
Main
Roast Chicken, Potato Rosti, Portobello Mushroom and Masrala Reduction
Dessert
Murrayfield Mess
(Creme Brulee, Pavlova and White Chocolate Mousse)
This menu is one of the things people still bring up when talking about the wedding, who serves half time pies as a starter?!
With lockdown restrictions in place this has allowed us to spend quality time together and go back and enjoy a special dinner that we’d not be able to order in a restaurant but one which brings back many happy memories. What meal would you like to recreate at home?
